Winter Season of 2021

Michigans Season of Winter has unveiled with its frigid temperature greeting us to seek out comfort and warmth. Comfort from a nice hot cup of cocoa with a cinnamon stick or marshmallows melting inside the cup.

Winter is also a season where things are barren. Barren is where things are often dark, lifeless, and without signs of fruit. The trees are without leaves and appear to be lifeless during the winter season.

Trees are dormant during the winter season and the trees know what temperature causes them to determine when that time is and prepares for that process by losing its leaves and fruit in the fall season which is the harvest time.

There is a Time and a season for everything. Identify the season you’re in and properly prepare during the season for your spring. Winter is a great time for self care.

I have purchased new books and journals to read and enjoy this season that can appear to be lifeless, but inside my mind and my heart I am praying, resting and preparing for my harvest time. This is an annual process to repeat every year.

What are you preparing for during this season of your life. Make sure you rest and spend quality time with yourself, so that you yield your greatest harvest.
